Started the regime again on Monday. I've been feeling really good since about Saturday.
Carol went to the hospital with me as we knew we would be meeting with the doctor after my radiation. Looks as though the treatment is progressing as expected. I have lost more weight than they wanted me to and I need to start to mouthwash regularly and start applying the 'special' cream to my neck area to avoid negative effects of the radiation.
Tom and I think of you often. I know you have a long road in front of you - bad stretch right now, then good following. Thanks for keeping us posted. Patti
ReplyDeleteHi Champ, Back from Lakeshore and had fun even tho it was hotter than it needed to be. Played golf with Matt Ramsey, Brian Ellis, and John yesterday and had fun. John didn't play as his emphzema is bothering him so he just rode. We had 19 total so had one 3some. Glad you are still feeling good and hope that lasts. Bowling sucks but does start for me tomorrow evening. Yah who!!!! Love you man and thinking of you. Ron

ReplyDeleteHope things are still going well for you. I know you have a long road ahead of you, but I'm going to think positive and believe that you will come through this thing and be back to your old self in no time.
We had dinner with Terry & Maxine Hodges last night and they send their well wihes and prayers. I'm sure they will be contacting you. They still don't have a computer, which is hard to believ in this time. Just a little behind times in this area.
We are leaving on the 12th, and heading south and then west.
